Welcome to the
Chugiak High School Alumni Booster Club Website!

The Chugiak High Alumni Booster Club is a non-profit dedicated to supporting Chugiak High School, its students, its facilities, and its commitment to educational excellence.

All CHS Alumni are welcome to join the Booster Club by paying annual dues, staying up to date on Chugiak activities, or serving on the Alumni Board of directors.

The Time Capsule ceremony will be hosted by Chugiak High School. For information on this ceremony, you can contact Amanda Morris, Chugiak Administrative Assistant at morris_amanda@asdk12.org.

Hello Chugiak Alumni, and especially the Class of 1976 and 1980!

We need your help:

We are in the formative stages of deciphering how the school district will remove the time capsule. We’d love to see any photos that the class of 1976 of the actual time capsule, and we’d love some photos from when it was re-buried in 1980. If you have any photos from either 1976 or 1980, please email those photos to Amanda Morris at morris_amanda@asdk12.org. We have the photos from page 61 of the 1977 yearbook. We’d love a few more, especially any of it being placed in the ground in 1980. We are trying to ascertain what exactly is under all that concrete!

Once we have a clear image of how it is buried, we will have more details about its extraction and how the class of ’76 can be a part of it. We will be working with ASD to have it documented and removed and will solicit more input and involvement from the class of ’76 as we get closer to the date.

The event afterwards at Odd Man Rush is hosted by the Alumni Association and is not affiliated with the School District or Chugiak High School as part of ASD. Alumni Association is a separate non-profit organization composed of all alumni since Chugiak’s opening in 1964, who work to support the needs of the school and its continued success. The event at OMR is a fundraiser for the association and we hope as many alum from the class of 1976- and ALL graduates of CHS are able to join in the celebration of the school.

The Alumni Foundation is actively recruiting potential board members, dues-paying members, and committee volunteers. All Chugiak Alumni are welcome to be dues-paying members, including former and current ASD Staff.
